বীরভূম : ভেঙে দেওয়া হল তারাপীঠের ১৫ বছরের পুরনো মন্দির কমিটি। পুরনো কমিটি ভেঙে তৈরি হল নতুন মন্দির কমিটি। তারাপীঠ মন্দির কমিটির নতুন সভাপতি নিখিল বন্দ্যোপাধ্যায়। বিধানসভা ভোটে হাসনের বিজেপি প্রার্থী ছিলেন নিখিল বন্দ্যোপাধ্যায়। এতদিন গায়ের জোরে মন্দির কমিটি দখল করে রেখেছিল তৃণমূল, অভিযোগ বিজেপির।
এদিন মন্দির কমিটির নতুন সভাপতি নিখিল বন্দ্যোপাধ্যায় বলেন, “মন্দিরের এক শ্রেণির সেবায়েত ক্ষমতার প্রভাব খাটিয়ে দীর্ঘদিন ধরে মন্দির কমিটি ধরে রেখেছিলেন। সরকার পরিবর্তন হওয়ার পর আমরা সেই কমিটি ভেঙে নতুন কমিটি তৈরি হয়েছে।”
